I just wanted to add a little blog post for my resent work, although I struggle to make work at the moment for one reason or another over the last year . The jellyfish paintings were inspired by a trip out to London Aquarium, I was taken back by the beauty of the jellyfish suspended in huge volumes of water, so peaceful, such graceful freedoms they enjoy. During serval months of lockdown I couldn’t help but keep painting and drawing them. The fluidity in the shapes attracted me, that and the memories of watching them in the huge tanks gave me a sense of peace in troubling times.
