This small painting is part of the Aquarium series, it was a series of experimentation a break away from the norm of my work. After painting abstract interiors and landscapes with very flat painterly forms i wanted to branch out and return to some figurative roots. As this painting marks the end of the series i look back and think of what I've learnt. Abstraction meets figuration to some degree, as i start to think onwards to the next series i will push on with experimental notion in my work with the continuation of pushing boundaries between figuration an abstraction. I will continue with my search to find myself in my painting.
